SECONDARY STAGE

As the school mission statement states, ‘no child is to be left behind’, the school has embarked on a programme that reaffirms the value of each learner and enables all adolescents to experience dignity and confidence to learn. The curriculum delivery discourages rote learning and learning for tests. All teachers are trained and mentored by the Management to constitute a learning culture that prompts all learners to find their self-esteem, nurture their curiosity-to do things, to ask questions and pursue investigations.Here,the content delivery aims to connect knowledge to real life contexts giving stress on understanding,application, analysis and creativity rather than on rote learning.

The school is constantly on the lookout for emerging trends and making quick adaptations. Children are given infrastructure, like state of the art laboratories and digital classrooms to nurture their skills catering to individual differences. Flexibility in examination is allowed by means of formative assessment and summative assessments. The activities for formative assessment along with co- curricular activities are designed to facilitate the improvement of life skills of all learners. The social, cultural, religious and geographical diversity of the nation is highlighted with activities organised as part of observing important national days.
