BACK TO THE RUSTIC CHARM OF KERALA

The birth of Kerala State was observed on November 1 with a variety of programmes organised by the Malayalam Department.
Mr. Anil Mankada, the chief guest entertained the assembled kids with his typical renditions of folk songs rich in the wavering
tempo of plain rural life of the common mass.

His session was particularly hilarious because the students were also initiated into the rhythmic chorus recital.
A choreography depicting the culture, tradition and outfit of the Gods own country involving some girls was a soothing reflection
of the pride of our state. A skit and a quiz on the history of the state gave the occasion its due weight.
