A difference of 2 points between Ellora House (198), the Champions and Ajantha (196), the runners up together with a meagre difference of
1 point between Taj Mahal (177) that finished third and Charminar (176) that hit the bottom underlines the vigorous buoyancy the bunch of
young athletes unleashed at the ground on the two days of ‘Annual Athletics Meet 2018-19’ held in the second week of November.
The proud recipients of Individual Championship awards were Nazal Ahamed and Barzah Karanath from the kiddies section, Shinfas and
Sreeparvathy from the Sub junior segment, Lashin Aboobacker, Anshan Rasheed, Fathima Nidha and Ansiya from the Junior division,
Azim Umer,Nihal Nazer and Fathima Hisana from the senior category.
The track and field events had a majestic start with exhibitions of Mass Drill and March past at the inaugural ceremony graced by the
presence of Mr Firoz Kalathingal, the former Santhosh Trophy player. The Principal urged the kids to take part in the events with a
feeling free of fear of fate. When the Physical Education Department took command, the coherence of the Ace team ensured a smooth
and enviable conduct of the Athletics Meet.
